Traceability

LogicApps EMI provides traceability functionality to help you

  • Track parts and processes.
  • Contain quality problems.

LogicApps EMI provides powerful traceability functionality that allows you to track the specific parts and components that are assembled into your products.  Our LogicApps EMI hardware can connect with barcode scanners, RFID scanners, or OCR-enabled cameras that capture part identification numbers in real-time during the manufacturing processes. LogicApps EMI can also capture process-related information, such as the machines used in the assembly, the operations performed, time stamps of the operations, and the persons performing the operations.

Implementing traceability in your manufacturing operations allows you to be both proactive and reactive:

Proactively, traceability helps you identify defects and non-conforming processes during production, so that defects are identified and corrective action is taken before products ship to customers.  Our solution captures process data in real time and compares the data against the process plan for your product.  When process gaps are identified, they can be analyzed and

Our traceability functionality analyzes your process data to identify gaps against your process plan, so that you can identify defects and take corrective action before products are shipped to customers.  Similarly, when a defective component is discovered, traceability functionality allows you to identify the products containing the defective component, allowing you to narrowly target the products subject to recall.
